The HTA Consumer Consultative Committee (CCC) invites representatives of health consumer organisations to a free webinar.

“Enhancing HTA Feedback - From HTA Inputs to Outcomes”

HTA inputs/outcomes in relation to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) and the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC)

11:00am – 12:30pm AEST, Wednesday 1 October 2025  

About the webinar:

HTA Committees seek input from consumer groups and others to support evaluation processes and contribute to their deliberations. Consumer groups have indicated they would like more feedback about their input, and the outcomes of the Committee decision-making.

This interactive webinar will present some examples of both direct feedback to a patient group, as well as public communications from Committees to stakeholders more broadly. Attendees will also be invited to consider their preferred ways of receiving information and communications from Committees. 

The webinar program will be shared closer to the event. 

Registrations to attend the webinar are open to:  

• Representatives of health consumer and patient organisations, defined as: support groups and organisations that are community, health consumer and patient focused. Individuals living with a health condition and/or their carers will also represent a majority of members in their governing bodies. Relevant organisations include:
  • General umbrella organisations (e.g. representing either disease-specific organisations and/or national umbrella organisations) and;
  • Community, health consumer or disease specific organisations representing individual patients on acute and/or chronic diseases.
  • Consumer members of a Department of Health, Disability and Ageing HTA committee.

Our aim is to ensure that consumer voices are centred in this webinar. The name of the consumer organisation you are representing is required to assess your eligibility. If you do not provide this information your registration will, unfortunately, be automatically declined.
